Conjectural mantic game is
the set of physiognomic fortunetelling cards with images of
Hexagrams IChing and physiognomic symbols, and also the magic
board which are necessary for games or puzzles or divinations. Application of these physiognomic fortunetelling cards can be various. It is possible to use for mathematical puzzles or conundrums by means of which it is possible to investigate logic system of Hexagrams IChing as cards have numbers which correspond with serial numbers of Hexagrams in the canon of changes IChing and correspond with numbers of a magic square which forms numerical notations of the magic board. It is possible to use for various logic games and puzzles as it is possible to consider cards as game elements. It is possible to use the offered physiognomic fortunetelling cards for realization of divinations and predictions, for fortune-telling and card-reading, for cartomancy and prophecy. Logic puzzles and games and divinations are incorporated in one magic and mathematical system in which games can turn to divinations, and divinations can turn to logic games and puzzles or conundrums. Rules and instructions are submitted in the PDF file in which also there are images of physiognomic cards and images of the magic board suitable for printing. You must to pay for images and texts of rules for divinations in the PDF file.

The set of this mantic game contains 64 physiognomic fortunetelling cards on which
64 Hexagrams IChing and 64 physiognomic symbols are drawn as shown at the left
in the form of the table. Namely each card has the serial number which corresponds to the serial number in the sequence
of Hexagrams in the Classical Book of Changes IChing (King Wen's sequence), and
also each card has the numerical value which corresponds to the numerical
notation of the corresponding square of the magic board. Serial numbers are put on physiognomic cards by dark
Arabian ciphers and numerical values are written by white ciphers in dark circles.
The magic board in the
set of this conjectural mantic game has 8 vertical and 8 horizontal rows,
and total has 64 dark and light squares.
Verticals and horizontals are notated by Trigrams. It means that each square corresponds
to the Hexagram IChing which turns out from connection of top Trigram on a
vertical and bottom Trigram on a horizontal of the board.
But only numerical values of Hexagrams IChing are written on squares of the
board directly, that corresponds to white figures in dark circles on cards.
Namely if to arrange physiognomic fortunetelling cards on squares of the magic
board according to numerical values of cards and squares then Hexagrams IChing
on cards are derivatives from Trigrams which designate verticals and horizontals
of the board.
Numerical notations of squares on the magic board is a magic square and
accordingly numerical values of Hexagrams IChing make a magic square.
Pay attention that a magic square is made with numerical values which are put on cards by white ciphers in dark circles,
and also a magic square
is made with numbers (ciphers) which are put directly on squares of the
board, but serial numbers (which are put on physiognomic cards by dark ciphers)
correspond to serial numbers of Hexagrams in the sequence of the Classical Book
of Changes IChing.
Also pay attention that Hexagrams in the Book of Changes IChing have only
serial numbers and have no numerical values which are used in the present conjectural
and mantic game.
Numerical values of physiognomic cards have the
identical sums for each emotional expression due to a magic square. Namely, if
to choose all cards
with joyful expressions of eyes then these cards have the sum of numerical
values 520. If to choose all cards with any other emotional expressions of a
mouth or eyes or eyebrows then such physiognomic cards also have the sum of
numerical values 520.
If to arrange physiognomic fortunetelling cards on squares of the magic board
according to numerical values of cards and squares then each vertical or
horizontal has the sum of numerical values 260, and also each quarter of the
board has the sum of numerical values 520 that provides proportionality of
numerical values for all emotional expressions, as cards and in essence
physiognomic symbols and Hexagrams IChing are correlated with squares of the
magic board.
This magic proportion of physiognomic cards can be used in games and puzzles for providing of
proportional distribution of cards between participating people, and also for
providing of equal odds of a prize in that case when the sums of numerical
values are significant in game rules, and when physiognomic symbols with
those or other emotional expressions are significant for players.
In total numerical values and serial numbers of physiognomic fortunetelling
cards in the set of the offered conjectural mantic game are subordinated to laws of magic numbers, and accordingly magic
numbers operate divinations which can be carried out by means of the offered magic
and physiognomic system.
The magic square is a term which expresses mathematical laws in arrangements
of numbers and is known in the mathematics. Different arrangements of numbers can make
various magic squares and accordingly Hexagrams IChing can have
various numerical values, but the shown
arrangement of numbers on squares of "the great magic square" is used
in the offered conjectural game.
The additional information on arrangements of numbers and Hexagrams IChing in
squares (cells) of a magic square look on pages of this site in other section
which has the name: chronology.
