circular quadrature and hexagrams i-jing

The seventh page shows the scheme in which four rings of hexagrams of the Book of Changes i-jing are incorporated, and also shows square spatial arrangements of hexagrams in rings that is possible to consider as a geometrical decision of the circular quadrature (quadrature of a circle), and that is possible to apply to puzzles and fortune-telling.

Circular quadrature and hexagrams i-jing.
Mantic puzzles and fortune-telling.

Rings of emotions, as well as circles of emotions, it is possible to use in the form of the logic device in which rings make a pyramid, namely the bottom rings have greater diameter and each ring can independently rotate concerning the common axis.
Or it is possible to use the motionless scheme in which four rings of hexagrams of the Book of Changes i-jing are incorporated in one ring, as shown in figure:

scheme of geometrical aspects i-jing as a decision of the circular quadrature The shown scheme is similar to schemes which are shown on the previous sixth page, but in this case there are only physiognomic symbols and serial numbers of hexagrams according to sequence in the Book of Changes i-jing, and symbols of hexagrams are not shown, and also there are no numerical values which correspond to numbers of a magic square and on the previous page are specified by white figures in dark circles.
Dark and grey lines designate ratio of hexagrams and physiognomic symbols within four rings that corresponds to ratio within four quarters of a magic square as each ring corresponds to one quarter of a square.
In essence shown rings allow to see a square spatial arrangement of physiognomic symbols and hexagrams i-jing by means of circular arrangement or otherwise to tell by means of a ring spatial arrangement.
Actually shown rings it is possible to consider as the scheme of geometrical aspects of "circular quadrature" or as symbolical "decision of the circular quadrature of a circle" that is coordinated with comments of the Book of Changes where there is a phrase: "the great square has no corners". As this phrase can be understood as the indication on interrelation of the square spatial arrangements of hexagrams i-jing with the circular or ring spatial arrangements.

Ratio of hexagrams i-jing in rings can be considered at realization of fortune-telling and puzzles on the game board which is constructed according to principles of a magic square. Namely it is possible to apply the shown scheme of four rings together with the magic board and mantic cards which are presented on pages of this website in other section.
And also for realization of fortune-telling and puzzles it is possible to apply the special game board which too is constructed according to principles of a magic square but besides is display of the spatial arrangement of hexagrams i-jing in rings, that is shown in following figure:

special game board for puzzles and fortune-telling i-jing numbers on mantic cards coincide with cells on the magic board White rectangles are cells of the magic board that corresponds to rectangular forms of mantic cards with images of physiognomic symbols and hexagrams i-jing.
Cells correspond with positions of 64 hexagrams in four rings.
For example, the cell with number 33 corresponds to the position of 33rd hexagram in the first ring, and the cell with number 16 corresponds to the position of 16th hexagram in the third ring. These positions are opposite in rings.
Or the cell with number 60 corresponds to the position of 60th hexagram in the fourth ring, and the cell with number 52 corresponds to the position of 52nd hexagram in the second ring. These positions too are opposite.
Rules of fortune-telling and puzzles consist that mantic cards consistently spread on cells of the magic board, and if serial numbers on cards coincide with numbers on cells of the board then such cards and in essence hexagrams i-jing and physiognomic symbols on these cards can be considered as results of fortune-telling.
Rules of some puzzles and fortune-telling look on pages of this website, and in particular look the PDF file where mantic game is described.

And also to realization of fortune-telling and puzzles it is possible to apply other special boards which are constructed according to principles of a magic square and rings of hexagrams i-jing:

magic board corresponds to rectangular forms of mantic cards mantic cards as results of fortune-telling with hexagrams i-jing physiognomic symbols on cards as results of magic fortune-telling symbolical decision of the circular quadrature in rings of hexagrams i-jing fortune-telling and mantic puzzles according to principles of a magic square magic properties of numerical values and numerological ratio

If to arrange mantic cards on cells of the shown magic game boards according to serial numbers of hexagrams (dark figures) then it is possible to see complex numerological ratio of numerical values (white figures in dark circles) as numerical values are numbers of a magic square. For example on the second game board, 12 hexagrams on 12 cells with serial numbers 26, 1, 33, 52, 44, 32, 39, 62, 34, 5, 55, 13 form the sum of numerical values 54+1+61+10+60+57+11+64+4+55+5+8=390. And also 12 hexagrams on 12 cells with serial numbers 37, 14, 56, 57, 50, 28, 46, 31, 43, 36, 49, 30 form the sum of numerical values 13+63+3+49+6+7+52+2+62+16+59+58=390, that forms ratio of the equal sums and is caused by magic properties of numerical values. And also complex numerological ratio exist on other magic game boards.
But it is necessary to consider that rings of hexagrams i-jing and the shown magic game boards are not an ordinary numerical puzzle as allow to analyze mutual relations of people by means of physiognomic symbols, and also allow to describe many other phenomena of a human life.
In particular various forms of magic game boards can be applied for analysis of interrelations which exist in mutual relations of daughters of god DAKSHA in the context of Vedic mythology of ancient India. Because DAKSHA and his wife VIRINI according to information in Puranas had 62 daughters, that is equal to 64 hexagrams of Chinese Book of Changes i-jing.
Ten daughters MARUVATI, VASSU, YAMI, LAMBA, BHANU, URIYA, SANKALPA, MAHURATI, SADHYA, VISHVA are wives of god DHARMA.
Or wives of god DHARMA are KIRTI (fame), SRILAKSHMI (prosperity), DHRITI (steadiness), MEDHA (intelligence), PUSHTI (thriving), SRADDHA (faith), KRIYA (devotion), BUDDHIKA (intellect), LADJA (modesty), TUSHTI (resignation).
Wives of DHARMA personify moral principles of validity and justice.
Twelve daughters ARISHTA, SURSA, SURABHI, VINATA, TAMRA, KRODHVASHA, IRA, KADRU, MUNI, VISHVA, also DITI and DANU are wives of god KASHYAPA.
Or wives of god KASHYAPA are KALAKA, ANAYUS, SIDDHIKA, MUNI, KRODHVASHA, PRAVA, ARISHTA, VINATA, KAPILA, KADRU, also DITI and DANU.
Wives of KASHYAPA are progenitors of demonic deities.
Twenty seven daughters UTTARABHADRA, REVATI, ASHVINI, BHARANI, KRITTIKA, ROHINI, MRIGASHIRSHA, ARDRA, PUNARVASU, PUSHYA, ASHLESHA, MAGHA, PURVAPHALGUNI, UTTARAPHALGUNI, HASTA, CHITRA, SVATI, VISAKHA, ANURADHA, JYESHTHA, MULA, PURVASHADHA, UTTARASHADHA, SRAVANA, DHANISHTA, SHATABHISHA, PURVABHADRA are wives of god SOMA and Nakshatras which in the context of Indian astrology correspond to 27 days of draconic month which is connected with astronomical cycle of lunar and solar eclipses.
Two daughters SATI and RATI are wives of SHIVA and KAMA.
One daughter ADITI is wife of VISHVAKARMAN and mother of hierarchy of heavenly gods.
Ten daughters KHYATI (celebrity), SAMBHUTI (fitness), SMRITI (memory), PRITI (affection), KSHAMA (forgiveness), SANNATI (humility), ANASUYA (without jealousy), URIYA (energy), SWAHA (offering), SWADHA (oblation) are wives of immortal Rishis and Pitris which were born as children of DHARMA.
Look additional information about DAKSHA and VIRINI on pages of other website www.wordgame.64g.ru in section which is named as names of gods.
Look information about Nakshatras or 27 wives of SOMA in the context of lunar astrology of ancient India on pages of this website in section which is named as chronology.
In the future I shall try to publish more detailed information on various rules of fortune-telling and mantic puzzles which can be carried out on cells of the shown magic boards.

The following page compares rings of hexagrams of the Book of Changes i-jing with physiognomic symbols of analytical psychology.
